Dragonflies

Home Dragonflies Other Critters Water, Snow & Ice Landscape Misc. Nature
Dragonflies have lots of symbolism.  For many, they are a symbol of summer.   They come out to feast on mosquitos and other insects.  They also symbolize water and air as they start their life in the water and then morph in to a magical creature of the air.  Different cultures have different views on their symbolism.  Some believe they are the souls of the dead while others believe they are what's left of true dragons.  They are very magical and something to behold and take pictures of.   Hope you enjoy the collection as much as I do.
